Today we are featuring our second workshop that was held in Austin, TX at the Union on Eighth! We learned so much each event, so it was fun to see some of our new ideas come to fruition. Check out what attendees and speakers said about their experience:
“The School of Styling was a fabulous workshop for those wanting to gain more traction, skills, or general knowledge about creative industries and how to make your presence known. I’m equally impressed by eh ongoing communication, support, and opportunities from The School of Styling network!” – Claire
“The School of Styling was truly a one-of-a-kind experience in one room sat artists, leaders, bloggers, planners, photographers, and dreamers. There was a sense of eagerness in the atmosphere – we all had something to share, but wanted even more to learn from each other. It was very clear that everyone wanted to soak everything up like a sponge. TSOS is the place to go if you want to take your business, craft, and confidence to the next level. If you want to surround yourself with like-minded artists, to grow with them and learn new skills, to fine-tune your eye for well styled details, and hone in on who you are as an artist. You will make friends with amazing women and learn from the best in the industry. You will walk away with a plan for what’s next, and the ability to make it happen.” – Michelle Boyd, speaker
“I can honestly say, not a day has gone by that I haven’t used one of the tips or tools given to me at TSOS Austin! You created more than just a workshop – it’s a community! Thank you for equipping us with the confidence to keep pursuing our creative passions and introducing us to each other & your great group of speakers! Being surrounded by such a talented group was a blast!” – Jess
“I knew from the second I Instagram stalked TSOS that I wanted to attend. After going on the website & crying (tears of joy) after watching the video, all I could think was “I can’t believe this actually exists & there are other people who care about styling and fonts and linens and all of these little details as much as I do!” Thank goodness it does. Attending TSOS was everything I thought it would be and more. First off, Kaitlin is an amazing inspiration to all of us. She is so kind and warm and welcoming, I instantly felt her passion for what she does the second I met her. She is one of those people that you know works their butt off to do what she loves. The TSOS curriculum was a great mix of business advice, social media, and hands-on creative. The breakout sessions were my favorite – they were extremely pertinent to subjects I wanted to learn more about, and every presenter was more than approachable. By far the most influential part of TSOS was the people I met and bonds I created in such short amount of time. I wish the girls in my class as much success and happiness in their business that I wish for my own.” – Alexa
