Last week, we put on our first ever Summer Bash, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how everything turned out. We arrived at The Merrimon Wynne House in Raleigh, NC at 10am and worked hard to transform the space. To be real, this venue is absolutely breathtaking, so it didn’t need much transforming! We had so many wonderful Creatives donate their time and resources to help us pull of such a wonderful event at an affordable price. 

It began with check-in at 5:00 for those who snagged an All-Inclusive ticket. This included the classroom portion of our evening and is also where we gave away 10 Kendra Scott pieces at random. You know TSOS, we LOVE a good surprise! When each attendee walked into the venue, they were greeted by our beautiful Welcome Sign made by Sidney Hunter Design Co. and multiple pop-up shops by vendors who offered their products at a discounted rate for the evening.  After shopping around, grabbing a donut and watermelon pop, the attendees headed to their first session: Invitation Styling by Kaitlin Holland, Social Media by Perry Vaile Photography, Watercolor Calligraphy by Sage Paper Co, and Marketing and Networking by Lauren Hooker. Each attended got to sit through two of these mini sessions, which served as a sneak peak into our actual workshops!

At 6:30, our classroom portion ended and we headed to the lawn and Carriage House for the cocktail party, all of which both spaces were beautifully adorned with linens from Nuage Design, florals from Southerly Flower Farm, lounge furniture from Paisley + Jade, and accents by Cottage Luxe. More guests arrived for this portion of the evening, where we entered into a time of lawn games, drinks, food provided by Catering Works, an amazing dessert spread by Sugar Euphoria, the cutest pineapple plates and flamingo cups by Swoozies, a photo booth with a beautiful backdrop by Aviation Studio, and live painting by Meredith Parker. We even had a beautiful table set up with more information about our upcoming workshop in Chapel Hill with Southern Sugar Bakery cookies as an added treat for stopping by the table.  Our goal was to provide an evening of relaxing with new and old friends, and lots of fun surprises along the way. Throughout the night, every guest had an opportunity to win amazing giveaways by using our hashtag #TSOSsummerbash on Instagram. Those giveaways included a gift basket by Greige Design, a gift basket Parris Chic Boutique, Tieks giftcard, Marigold and Grey man’s giftbox, lots of Moon and Lola jewelry, and the live painting by Meredith Parker.
