Day Two at The School of Styling Charleston began with coffee and a morning full of sessions! Including a hands-on prop styling session led by Krista Janos of Blue Eyed Yonder. It is by far my favorite part of the workshop to see the ladies get their hands dirty styling!

PS How beautiful are the pieces Lydia Robins Hendrix + Paper Birch Designs made?! These beautiful invites were mailed to our attendees prior to the workshop!

Watch this video by Handspun Cinema before scrolling down! It’s an amazing recap of Day Two!

We wrapped up the morning with a centerpiece session by Amy Osaba! Amy is a floral genius, so our attendees were eager to learn her tips + tricks. I can’t wait to share more of the student work that was created. It’s nothing short of amazing!

After lunch, Carol Hannah spoke to the attendees about bringing an idea to life, specifically when creating a bridal shoot. She spoke about how to pull a look together from inspiration to installation. Her talk got everyone was so excited to style their own bridal shoot the next day!

We finished up the afternoon with a tabletop demonstration by Jessica Rourke. After the attendees learned Jessica’s tricks of the trade, they got to design their own tabletop design!

La Tavola‘s linens, Polished Tabletop‘s china/glassware/flatware, Ooh Events! details, and Paper Birch Designs‘ place cards were beautiful and gave our attendees endless creative possibilities!

Once their tabletop designs were finished and photographed, everyone headed back to the Inn to freshen up and get ready for the Moon + Lola cocktail party!

What better way to travel than a gorgeous trolley? We had so much fun chatting and enjoying the sites as we drove into downtown!

Moon + Lola spoiled us with yummy cocktails, coconut cake, and necklaces! Their store is perfection and we had such a great time relaxing and being spoiled.

Day Two was filled to the brim with creating, learning, and laughing with new friends! Come back tomorrow for the Day Three Recap!
