Welcome to Day Two of The School of Styling Greensboro! Are you ready for more prettiness captured by Ally + Bobby? We still can’t get over these gorgeous florals by Rebecca Rose Events and the acrylic signage by Happy Tines!

Day Two is always jam packed with amazing content from our speakers, hands-on sessions, and our ladies are already good friends! (Especially after a few fun rounds of speed dating!)

The ladies were welcomed with some extra special gifts, all tied a bow! The cutest pineapple pins, a gold dot pin, and A Simplified Life by Emily Ley (SO good!), bundled with a gorgeous garment bag from Pretty Plum Sugar

After a fill of coffee + yummy pastries, our attendees were ready for their day!

Take a look at our first hands-on session of the day: floral styling! Rebecca Rose Events led with a demonstration, and then the magic began! Some of these arrangements were seriously out of this world!

And the cutest attendee award goes to……Lucy Holland! (But we may be a bit biased :))

The floral styling class was followed by an INCREDIBLE session with Ashlyn Carter of Ashlyn Writes! Ashlyn is a calligrapher, and and a copywriter for creatives. She gave our attendees some great insight on copy that converts!

Following a yummy lunch by Holly Tate Fine Catering, our ladies were ready for their next session!

Our attendees gathered back together for Emily Freeman. Emily is a creative entrepreneur, speaker + author of Simply Tuesday – an adult coloring book that she gifted to each of us! She spoke about the three things that every creative project needs!

After Emily left our ladies feeling super inspired, it was the perfect time for a breakout session! Randi of Sugar Euphoria led an extra sweet cupcake design session, while Nancy of Nancy Ray Photography chatted all about building a successful team.

Well, what goes better with scrumptious cupcakes than a good ole cup of coffee? Wired! Coffee Truck was the perfect ( + very welcomed!) mid-afternoon surprise for attendees. The ladies were able to sip their chai lattes and vanilla cappuccinos and chat through all of the amazing content they just learned! We always love a good afternoon caffeine kick!

The coffee truck was the perfect pick me up, and our ladies were fully energized as they headed straight into the next breakout session. Breakout sessions are such a great way to get the ladies in a more intimate setting to foster great conversation, and give them an opportunity for more q+a with our speakers! I led one of the breakout sessions, and went through all of the dos and don’t of email marketing while Emily Thomas from Southern Weddings led the other ladies through a discussion on just how to get their work featured.

Day two ended with one of my FAVORITE parts of The School of Styling: tabletop styling! We had gorgeous pieces by The Prettiest Pieces, Party Makers, and Wolf + Irving. The ladies got to hand select their details and style their very own tabletop design, accented with the floral centerpiece they created. While all attendees have access to the very same items, its truly amazing to see how creative each student is! We just love seeing their thought process in action, and, of course, the final results!

WHAT. A. DAY! Any day that begins surrounded by florals, and ends with the beautiful tabletop designs is a perfect day in my books! If you missed the recap of day one, take a look here. We will be back next week with a recap of day three on Tuesday and we will share all of our attendee’s portfolio work on Thursday!
