Recap of our Motherhood Ranch hosted at the Za Ranch in Covington, Louisiana

Together with Jenn Perrault of Haute off the Rack, The School of Styling hosted an intimate three day retreat designed specifically for female entrepreneurs who are also mothers. We wanted to shed light on the unique challenges of running a business while managing a family, and all of the challenges and joy that occur alongside motherhood. The Za Ranch hosted our event, and this stunning property created the perfect reprise and could not have dreamed up a more gorgeous setting for our Motherhood Retreat. What was planned as a time for mothers to step away to to focus on their business ended up an incredible gathering of like-minded women sharing their most vulnerable moments, encouraging each other, and creating lasting friendships.

The retreat kicked off with an impactful meditation session led by Darnell Gouzy, then we shifted to a reflective journaling session where we wrote letters to our past selves and we were surprised with childhood photos throughout the personalized journal. We then stepped outside to the gorgeous patio for a creative floral arranging session, then we utilized our centerpieces for our VIP and speaker dinner. We ended the evening with fireside chats which included lots of laughs, dreaming and s’mores!
