As you are probably already aware, The School of Styling held the first ever Summer Bash in June. This evening was so fun and so intentional, bringing Creatives together from all walks off life and everyone pitched in to make it an unforgettable evening. Because we have so many amazing images from this night, I wanted to do this recap justice so I’m breaking it into a two-part series. Part One will focus on the mini workshop, and Part Two will recap the cocktail party!
Everyone arrived for the mini workshop at 5:00 pm, and entered into The Merrimon Wynne to beautiful welcome sign by Sidney Hunter Design Co and lots of other fun surprises. At random, Logan from Kendra Scott, gave away 10 beautiful pieces of jewelry to 10 lucky attendees. Each attendee, however, even if they didn’t win Kendra Scott Jewelry had the opportunity to shop from amazing pop-up vendors, who offered their product at a discounted price, before the workshop even started. We had Parris Chic Boutique, Jollity, Swoozies, Kendra Scott, Meredith Parker Fine Art, and Vestique. The attendees browsed the shops, made a few purchases, grabbed a donut and watermelon pop, then headed to their assigned class.
We had 4 amazing sessions that were offered, and each attendee got to attend two. Lauren Hooker taught on Marketing and Branding, Alexa from Sage Paper Co taught a Watercolor Calligrapher course, Kaitlin Holland taught Invitation Styling, and Perry Vaile taught on Social Media. All of these classes are invaluable to the Creative Entrepreneur and served as a sneak peak into our 3-day workshops.
We had beautiful linens by Nuage covering all the tables, the most perfect detail rentals by Cottage Luxe, and absolutely stunning florals with the cutest fruit accents by Southerly Flower Farms. Of course our events wouldn’t be complete without Ally and Bobby capturing through film photography and Handspun Cinema documenting through videography.
