The School of Styling-Workshop for Creatives-Nashville, TN-Tablescape-Table styling-

It’s hard to believe TSOS Nashville ended over a month ago! Now that we have all of the images, we can’t wait to share them all with you. For three days this week, we will recap each day of our workshop, sharing every detail either through picture or writing. Our attendees from the workshop will also be sharing their images on Instagram, so if you would want to see those, then search #myTSOS. Let’s get started down memory lane!

The staff arrived a few days early to get everything ready, including welcome gifts for all of our speakers, to surprise and welcom them when they arrived to their hotel room. These gifts were so adorable, personalized, and intentionally curated by From Sir With Love. After we spend a few days grocery shopping, decorating, and making sure everything was in the right place, it was time to begin! Every attendee arrived at our beautiful venue, The Cordelle, on Tuesday March 6th. They were greeted by a hand-made sign, created by Sola Creations, and delicious cookies of The School of Styling crest, made by Southern Sugar Bakery. When they walked into the venue, they saw a beautifully decorated space, filled with greenery, organic flower arrangements, beautiful lounge furniture by 12th Table, and a carefully curated classroom.  Melissa Broadwell of Vintage Florals spent hours lining the walls with Jasmine Vine and tying in beautiful arrangements to fit our aesthetics for Nashville.

When the attendees arrived, they grabbed some delicious popcorn from Kernels Gourmet Popcorn, all which were hand-labeled and wax-sealed by Jessica Clinch of Simply Jessica Marie.  They entered into the classroom and found their designated seat, which was marked by a custom cutout of their name, made by Moon and Lola. There, they found a welcome box filled with all sorts of fun goodies! The most delicious Granola from Harvest Granola, hand-dyed silk ribborn from Adorn, a watercolor print from Sidney Hunter, a gray and gold notebook from Sugar Paper, an apron by Oatmeal Lace, a name plate in the shape of TN by Sola Creations, an amazing watercolor calendar by Simply Jessica Marie, and a tumber with the TSOS Crest.  All of the stunning furniture rentals were from 12th Table and all of the delicate, beautiful linens were from Nuage Designs.

Once everyone arrived, both speakers and attendees, we all took a moment to introduce ourselves, and then Kaitlin started her talk on The Fundamentals of Design. Kaitlin challenged every attendee to apply what they learned and style the products in their welcome boxes. The took pictures with their iphones, and then had the opportunity to meet with a small group afterwards, to evaluate their work. We had no doubt they would do amazing! Once their group finished they headed to the porch for our cocktail party.

Once they entered into the porch, they had the option of wine from Speakwines and a specialty Peach Sangria, and Flavor Caters made our delicious hors d’oeuvres. After a time of eating, drinking, and chatting, we all moved back inside for speed dating. This is one of our favorite activities of the entire workshop. We ask fun questions that allows the ladies to loosen up, get to know each other, and for strangers to become friends. We ended the night on a high note and sent the ladies home, excited for Day Two! Stay tuned!
