Today, Jessica Sloane is sharing her drool-worthy studio space. Grab a cup of coffee and be prepared to fall in love. Here’s what Jessica had to say:

My office turned out to be everything I hoped for: light, open and airy. I wanted to create a quiet, inspiring, space where I can meet with clients to design their special day. I lucked out finding one that has lots of natural light and high ceilings, two things I prioritize.

I wanted clients to feel relaxed when they come through the door, so I wanted to keep the colors clean, but warm. I painted the walls a faint grey. The trim and doors are just a shade darker, while the floors are a darker contrasting grey wood.

I always try to capture how each client wants their event to feel, so it was imperative that my space “feel” like me. My obsession with gold and white is well-known (just look at my logo) and so it’s all over my space. We updated simple white Target frames with gold foil paint that hold a few of my favorite images from past weddings, an inspiring quote and watercolor print.

The Turkish kilim rug was a bit of a splurge, but it really brings the space together and adds all the color. I chose a mudcloth textile that I found at a local store for the wall behind my desk because I love the rough texture mixed with all the modern clean lines.

It came together quite nicely and is the perfect reflection of my aesthetic!
